Kyle Cummings joined Summit in March of 2006 as the Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 20 years experience in finance and accounting to his role at Summit, further complementing our team of professionals.

A native Oregonian, Kyle received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 1986. Subsequently, he enrolled in the Post Baccalaureate Accounting Program at Portland State University and received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1992.

Upon graduating college, Kyle excelled in his career, most notably with Multnomah Publishers where he quickly advanced to the position of Senior VP of Admin and Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In 2004 he left Multnomah Publishers to found Cummings & Associates where he was a consultant and principal, providing financial, accounting, valuation and ROI analysis to his many clients. Kyle’s dynamic background in real estate, finance and accounting culminating from his personal and business ventures has proven to be an invaluable asset to Summit.

Kyle is actively involved in the community and served on the Board of Economic Development for Central Oregon from 2000 to 2005. He lives in Sisters, Oregon with his wife, Debi, and their two boys, Chad and Zack. Kyle enjoys golf, fly fishing on the Deschutes and McKenzie Rivers, and is a loyal Oregon Ducks fan.
