Greg Fowler joined Summit in May of 2006 as Director of Branch Operations and Director of Marketing. Greg brings over 13 years of experience as a CPA to his role at Summit and frequently travels to Summit’s branch offices to provide training on the complex issues of 1031 exchanges.

A native Oregonian, Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado in 1993. He subsequently became a Certified Public Accountant and then obtained his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2002.

Upon graduating from college Greg worked as a public accountant, most notably with Ernst & Young, LLP as a senior tax accountant. In 2001, he moved to Bend where he joined Net Worth Strategies, Inc. as a tax planning consultant. While there, Greg served in a number of capacities including software development manager and director of professional services. During his time with Net Worth Strategies, he trained hundreds of high-level financial planners throughout the United States on issues related to executive compensation.

Greg is an experienced public speaker, and has lectured on a variety of tax related issues including real estate transactions and corporate executive compensation issues. In addition to his professional activities, Greg is actively involved in his local community serving as a member of The Greater Bend Rotary Club, the City Club of Central Oregon and the St. Charles Foundation.

In his free time, Greg enjoys golfing, skiing, mountain biking and canoeing with his wife Jolyn.
