Redmond Location

Tim Larkin brings a wide range of experience to his dual role as President of the Bend office and Director of Operations for the company. His expertise in operational and technological efficiency has streamlined Summit operations and improved customer service.

Tim joined Summit in 2002, and has since been responsible for continuous improvement of processes during a period of unprecedented company growth. He was instrumental in launching Summit's proprietary Exchange management Software in 2004, significantly reducing document preparation time and allowing the staff to respond more quickly to customer needs and requests.

Prior to his joining Summit, Tim held a variety of high-level positions such as Director of Operations for a software development and marketing company, President of a 140-employee transportation comapny, and Controller of a corporation operating nursing homes throughout Oregon.

Tim also has an extensive background in Real Estate. He is currently an active investor and partner in numerous commercial, residential and development properties in multiple states. He also formerly held an Oregon Real Estate license which is currently inactive.

Tim is an experienced course designer and instructor. While with Net Worth Strategies, he designed and conducted seminars in software training and business plan development for financial planners and securities professionals. He currently teaches Continuing Education courses on 1031 exchanges for Realtors. He is currently qualified to teach courses in both Oregon and Montana.

A supporter of the local business community in Central Oregon, Tim currently serves as a team facilitator for Opportunity Knocks, a non-profit business development group. He was the President of the Crook County Rotary Club, and a member of the Crook County Planning Commission. Tim lives with his wife and 4 children in Redmond, Oregon and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, running, and cross country skiing.
